    I struggled with which batting to use, but ended up using Mountain Mist polyester. I doubled it. I read up on what all the best hand quilters do and that was not it... :0) I originally bought Fairfield 80/20 which probably would have been easier to quilt, but It seemed so thin and I wanted more loft for a baby quilt.

    Darling quilt. My Mom made my nephew a 'sail boat quilt' 12 years ago. It's worn out! I'm sure your grandson will wear his out, too!
