    I agree with quilter CDN. Aurifil. I have tried other cottons, but way too much lint.

    I have used threads of all kinds on my Bailey and I have not had any problem. One of my first projects on the Bailey was a large quilt sandwich with different threads. I used a Sharpie to record the thread brand, thread wt. etc. for each thread I tried. Cotton, no matter how expensive it is, is linty. Just keep brushing the lint out of the machine, smile.

    I agree. and if you look at the label of most of the long arm threads, it is poly. I use Connecting threads for long arm and Golden Threads, both are poly.

    I am a fan of Poly all day long. Poly cutting the fabric is a myth - but some don't like it and that's ok. Can't convince everyone! I just like poly so much more because of the low lint and it sews up so nicely. I piece with cotton and quilt with virtually nothing but poly.
