I have many 2" blocks left over from making watercolor quilts and from other scrappy quilts. My plan is to start making framed four-patch blocks and see where it leads me. I'm thinking of setting the blocks on point.

I bought a package of teeny tiny English paper piecing hexes and am using those for my little scraps.

When I have scraps that I cannot use I put them in a bag and give them to a school so the kids can use them to glue on cardboard or paper and make a picture. The teachers really appreciate them.

**GASP** I throw them away! Sorry if this offends anyone. Space is limited for storage and I can't keep everything, although at times I'd like to.

THank you for all the replies. I think the suggestion of framing a 4-patch is a good idea, so that will be my next project!

You are so-o right when you say that crumb quilting is addictive. It's relaxing, too!

Like omacookie suggested......a 16 patch with sashing and cornerstones makes a very attractive quilt. I just finished one and it is surprising how quickly you can make a block!

If you can, get some med. size priority boxes from the P.O. and as your working throw the scraps in the box. Offer them here for shipping. They will be snatched up in a hurry :O)
