Dina, The simplicity of your quilt combined with the color placement is absolutely gorgeous. STUNNING! Can you tell I really like it? I'm so glad you posted the picture. :-)

Oh, thank you! This is the first quilt I made that I gave away. I gave it to my sister-in-law, who sort of collects quilts. Her husband told me that she was looking for an Ohio Star pattern and that her favorite color was blue.

I was very pleased with the quilt....probably my sixth quilt...but I don't think my SIL really liked it. She never said she did. I got to thinking that maybe it was too plain, but I liked it. For awhile I didn't make any more quilts to give away, but I got over that.

You could also offset the blocks for a totally different look. Here is one I made from the Bowman's Beach pattern by Whirligig Designs. I bought the pattern from Keepsake Quilting.
