I like thousands of bolts... lots of great backing fabric. I have ordered backings from Fabric.com and got one that was so thin it was like gauze... so stick with a name brand on that site... if there is not a manufactures name or one that you can't say for sure about the quality .. then find a manufactures name you can trust.

If I'm going to order a wide back (I usually piece my backs) I usually order from Christian Lane and have been happy with their quality. If you're uncertain they will send you a good-sized swatch so you can see and feel what you will be ordering.

Hancock's of Paducah has a huge assortment and if you are on their mailing list they have sales every so often that are remarkable, very low priced for 108" backings. And all of their fabrics are top notch!

Give Whittle's in KY a try....I absolutely love their store prices on everything, and I understand they do internet too. They are close enough for me to travel up there periodically, and I don't do internet ordering, so I can't vouch for that.
