SAME HERE!!!! I had to laugh at how she preached about de-cluttering, but she cluttered the heck out of my inbox.

Keep everything put away and that will improve the looks greatly.

I believe it is flylady.net (rather than .com). I have followed flylady off and on over the years and it really did help me. I no longer receive her emails (changed my email addy) but I still try to follow thins I learned. I try really, rally hard to do cleaning task each day. And I also try really hard to always keep my house with in 15 minutes of being 'company ready'. Of course, it is easier for me now that our children are grown and out of the house.

Pam B, you are correct. It is www.FlyLady.net I goofed. And I am bombarded with emails from the site, but as a newbie, I need them. I still feel it is a good concept, but with moderation. And right now, I am dressed to the shoes!

You don't have to get the emails. Just log in to the site each morning and you can look at what needs to be done that way.

I was a flybaby for a long time. Then, we moved and I got distracted by life. With the winter doldrums snapping at my heals, I have been looking for a way to kick start myself. This is just the ticket. Thank you for reminding me of this website.

I receive one email with all the posts in one. It's how you select to receive it when you sign up.

I have been a Flybaby before internet. I didn't know I was a Flybaby I just knew I had to work all day and didn't want to come home to a messy house.
Flylady has streamlined the process so it's easy to explain. I read something Flylady wrote that has stuck with me over the years. Have you ever walked into a nice vacation rental and felt the instant relaxation of a spacious, clean, and uncluttered environment? This is the way your home should feel to you everyday. The key to no messy or dirty house is Clean a Clean house. It's fast and easy to dust furniture with no dust on it. Clean a dirty spot in a clean fridge. Swish a brush in a clean toilet bowl. I have my big cleaning jobs scheduled one per week like washing window may be this week, oven cleaning the next, move furniture to clean behind the next, and so on. This way all the big jobs get done with little effort keeping it clean in between. I love opening closets and cabinets and see one thing in one spot, not stuff piled on top of other stuff. The only room I can't seem to get the clutter under control is my sewing room but I try.

I am a FlyLady drop out, since my husband passed in 2010, but have started to do my own style to de-clutter. Slow but sure I will get to where I need to be.
