    I have a Topaz 20. It sews great but after 2 years am still learning the embroidery. Machine is good but I wouldn't give you a nickle for the Viking software. I started with Embird and branched out to EQ7 and added EQStitch for the embroidery. Alot less expensive and no Dongles to get in the way. I don't understand why a dongle anyway. All it does is put limits on the software and if it decides to stop working you are out alot of money because you can't replace it.

    Not really true Craftygater….If you take the dongle back to the dealer, Viking will replace the dongle……..but you have to return it………..We had a girl who dropped hers on driveway, and ran over it……..she had to take all of the pieces in to the Viking Gallery store……..but they did get her another dongle………...
