I love the Dream Green!! It's light, has a nice fold to it, and it handles a lot of the wear and tear that kids put quilts through. I've used it in both lap sizes and larger, and I've never been disappointed in the product.

If it's made from recycled plastics, how does it behave in a fire? Anyone know?

Saw it for the first time this week in a quilt shop in Centerview, Missouri. The clerk opened the package to let us feel it. Dream Green is very soft. On the package, it said 10 plastic bottle were saved from the land field to make a lap or twin size. (I can't remember.) So, I think we can assume there are things mixed with the recycle bottled.

That is strange because it would take more than 10 bottles to make a twin size and when we questioned the clerk, she told us that there were things added to the plastic bottles.

How will it hold up in a table runner. Probably should stick to 100% cotton. The price sure is good though. I leave my runner on the table and serve hot dishes on it if we have company. Would hate for it to melt.

    Thanks for any advice.

I have used it in two quilts, love it! I've washed both quilts, still love it! The quilts aren't as stiff as with WNat. And more pliable to use on your lap. I'm sold on it!

I can't find anything speaking about it's reaction to heat or fire, but this website does say that it is the same as other polyester battings.

Let us know how you like it...especially the quilting part. I have been thinking about trying it...
