    I never heard of buttertart squares...looked up a recipe. They look good!

    I make mine lime, same recipe but use bottled lime juice and grated peel instead of lemon. If several people are making goodies there are bound to be other lemon bars, but not lime!

    These do look great, but my hubby is diabetic - so corn syrup is a no-no.

    Thanks for all of the suggestions and recipes, the buttertart squares look good and easy, too. Might give them a whirl. Easier than butter tarts.
