Good for you, I'm guessing you will love it. Just be patient with yourself, you'll learn it all just fine. Take some lessons if you can.

I'm so excited to be upgrading from the 9000. Just praying it's not too much machine for me now and that I'm smart enough to figure it out.
now that is a great deal!

I remember when the 12000 came out. My friend and I went to our Janome dealer who brought a Janome representative in to promote the new machine. About 20 ladies attended. I have the 11000 Special Edition and so did my friend. I was not impressed with the new machine. I love the quilting hoop on my machine and at the time the 12000 did not have the quilting hoop. I bought my machine over 6 years ago and have since realized I am more a quilter than an embroiderer. My friend bought the 12000 and had nothing but problems with. She has since purchased the new Janome. I still have my 11000 and will never sell it. It is a great machine. My machine was a demo and the lady had 5 to sell. I got it for $3200!

I also have a Janome AQS2009 machine that I take to bee. I love Janome machines! I had been FMQ on my 11000 until a little over a year ago when I got a Handi Quilter 16 for my 60th birthday.

Oh, I'm regretting trading in my 11000SE for the 15000. Yea, I got 4 years interest free and they basically gave me $5,000 for my 11000SE so it was worth it, except I've had issues with the 15000 that are very annoying and I don't find it as user friendly as the 11000SE. Oh well, live and learn. At least I kept my 7700.
