trying to figure out how to quilt this
#11
I also like the idea of bringing some curves into the angularity of it. There is a gorgeous red and black quilt at the Billings Farm Museum exhibit this year, all triangles, and it is quilted in spirals. Makes a wonderful combination. But you need to let your heart tell you what your quilt wants.

I was wondering about using the Baptist fan radiating out from the center. I tried drawing in Paint, and I am terrible with a laptop touch pad. If it were me, I would probably use one of my pantos with a totally different theme than the triangles. Flowers, spirals, music notes, anything but something with a lot of straight lines, except I love the idea of the star that someone did earlier in this thread. That would probably be what I would do if I had the ability.

wow this is awesome quilt how long did it take to make it?
I am just starting to become addicted to fabrics and quilting and I am about
to embark on my first one. Hope it works out. But I am scared of triangles
so probably years before I make anything this nice. :-)

How about this? It would add roundness and an all over pattern. Kind of like rain drops on a pond.
