    I would keep it simple and go with the xylophone fabric.

    Thanks everyone for the ideas. My son helped me find some good pictures of x-rays and we printed them on fabric.

    I did an alphabet animals quilt. I went through the dictionary x's and the only animal I could find that started with x was xeme - an arctic gull. I was doing appliques, so I just got an outline of a gull and used that

    There should be some halloween fabrics with skeletons on it. That should work for xray.
