I thought the same thing at first but found the use of fine scissors and saving the clipping till I was watching TV in the evening was fine. Saved a lot on fingers and overall time was still less than pinning. Glue is great I agree but I am still impressed with my micro.

I saw this very same thing at a pharmacy in their "AS SEEN ON TV" aisle. Got it for $19.99. I have a small mustache comb to press around the tags so I don't cut into the fabric. Nail clippers are great for cutting them for removal.

I also have the older one which makes a bigger hole. I used it when I put my quilt on the frame to HQ. With the bigger one the larger hole wasn't the issue, it's the fact that it had leeway. I think I would like this one instead for that it wouldn't let the fabric give as much. I don't have allot of quilts that I HQ and put on the frame, so this would be a great investment for me. Thnks.

I have had one for years and love it as it is easier on the hands than pinning. Also use it to mark paper pieces with yardage and attaching to fabric lengths so I know how much fabric there is. When prewashing and ironing fabric and I find a fabric flaw, I use it to attach a small piece of paper to that area to alert me so it doesn't get into the project.
