    I just follow EB method of oversizing my blocks, then I give them a good pressing with starch, then trim. It is so important to at least establish a constant seam even if it is a chubby 1/4" or skinny one. After that is achieved than you can focus on accuracy. Just my opinion. Been quilting for almost 30 years,

    Just perfect cutting, seams and pressing is all I know. Not always easy to do
