My DH and I RV travel most winters. We ALWAYS stop at Quilt Shops along the way. One I went into had numerous metal ironing boards hanging (side by side- no fabric covers) on the walls used like PEG BOARD. They had peg board hooks(length determined by how much they were hanging) to hang patterns, rulers, scissors, cutters, etc.... anything that was packaged that had a hole in it. Was a GREAT idea! Ironing boards are cheaper than pegboard and put a bit of nostalgia into your room... plus they look "COOL"! Enjoy !!

Thank You for this! I have an old wooden ironing board. I didn't want to paint on it. This will be a great use for it now

Looks like you have a big area for sewing/quilting. Organization is very good. Love how ironing boards become so integral to your organization.
