Yo-yo attachment: Machine sew or hand sew?

Don't waste your money. Just as fast with out the contraption. JMHO. Not cheap either. Takes more time and effort to put them in and center everything just so vs. just picking up the circle material and start stitching. drop one of those templates and they can travel for blocks.

Hello everyone,
I'm working on my first yo-yo quilt project and I am finally within 8 yo-yos of completing the task of making the yo-yos. I am planning on using Kona white 5" blocks for the setting of each yo-yo. I have a couple questions for your experienced minds. 1. Would you machine sew or hand sew the yo-yos down? 2. Do you have any tips for quilting yo-yo quilts?
