    You did a lovely job on this quilt. I have thought about those of you enduring these blizzards etc. It is nice to see that you turned your time in to something so beautiful.

    Very calming indeed, just like the effect of a blanket of snow (well, the first foot of it anyway!). You really have an eye for color and print mixing. Although we didn't see your layout with the Jacob's ladder added, I think you made a good call with keeping the repetition of one block. The old-fashioned simplicity with those old fabrics is just so soothing.
