Same here. I've always hung them on the wall. Some seldom used ones have hung for months or even years straight and they aren't warped. There's no sunlight on them since they're one the same wall as the window.

They hang them like that in many of the fabric shops. That is a hanging display hole. Meant for just that.

It has a hole on one end, like it's meant to be hung, is 10 ft away from a heat vent, and is never in direct sunlight.

It's an Omnigrid, green on one side and gray on the other and it says that both sides can be used

I have two large cutting mats. I store them under my sofas. They are flat and convenient to where I use them.

I have hung some of mine and also have laid some flat under a bed. I have only had one warp and that was a Fiskars brand one. That one was laying flat in the box it came in. None of the my Olfa mats have warped, hanging or flat. I use a pant hanger with little pieces of quilt bat between the clip and mat so it is more secure and hang it on the back of the door.

I stand both of my Green cutting mats on edge between the refrigerator and the wall in our bar area downstairs. (I use the counter top there as my cutting table.) I've been doing this for 4 years and have never had a problem with warping.

I hung mine on the board on the wall and it warped. it was hung with 2 clips so not sure why it warped and others here had no problems. I did try the ideas on here to make it flat again, to no avail.

now I just store them flat on top of the cabinet or on the floor.
