I was very torn between the Babylock Crescendo (I love Babylock) and a brother equivalent. Stay with the embroidery that I also love or switch to sewing/quilting alone. It was an agonizing decision, but I did decide on the Brother Dreamweaver XE and I didn't feel like I was straying too far from Babylock because Borther is super similar. You will love your Babylock machine. I am partial to Babylock, but brother is in the same family! . Best of luck with your machine. can't wait to see the first thing you sew on it. I made some tote bags on mine! Love!
