Like you I really like my “Olfa" rulers. Don’t you just hate it when the rulers have so much writing on them you can’t see the lines?

    6.5" X 12", 6.5" X 24", Add A Quarter, 10.5" square. I have other rulers, but don't use them hardly ever.

If someone would develop a product that could be applied to the edges of rulers that gripped fabric a like Creative Grid rulers, they would have my undying gratitude.

moonrise, I use pretty much the same as you. But has anyone tried the Guidelines Rulers? I have been looking at them, wondering if they are any good or worth the price.

Well, I will say I understand how you think the Creative Grid rulers are cluttered, but I still love mine. I have so many fewer cutting mistakes because them...they just do not slide as easily. Though maybe that could be because I am less tense about cutting....also, I like them a lot because the lines are so thin. One of these days I am going to try one of the Olfa rulers--I hear so many people that love them.

As to sizes, I love my

    1. 8.5 x 24 CG (Creative Grid)
    2. 6.5 square--CG
    3. 6.5 x 12 CG
    4. 12.5 Omni--but one of these days want to replace with CG
    5. 20.5 Creative Grid I don't use it often, but when I want it I am so glad I bought it.
    6. 9.5 Square--CG

I had two of the Guideline Rulers but gave them away. They were cheap and I didn't like them. I had the attachments that made them go together to make a bigger ruler and I thought those were cheaply made!!

I could never pick 6 rulers. I have a gazillion rulers and use them all the time when I sew. They start at 1/2" and go up to the June Tailor ruler that has 1/2" slots.
