The sashing really highlights the colors in each block. I think you did a beautiful job on it!

I probably would never have thought of doing that blue stripe in the sashings, but really like the look! Whole quilt is definitely something to be proud about--can see why your friend is so excited.

Marion, This is so awesome. Did you say a while ago that you did not do a lot of scrappy quilts and needed to try do some? Mission accomplished with great flair. I love it. You should post this to the archives for scrappy quilts.
