I've done that. At least you found it before you put another row. I agree with bakermom that it's worse when you can't find that one "missing" piece.

That's one mistake I haven't made yet.

I was was quilting on my long arm and as I was almost done, I realized one section of the border was face down. It's a white on white print so not real noticeable, but still!

I did that just last month on a strip set - it wasn't until I "ran out" of the underneath fabric that I realized my mistake. And to boot, I did this in the public forum of a quilting day with the guild....

I think we need what my sister-in-law has in the alterations department in the department store where she works. It's called the "Dammit" Doll. Someone made it and stuffed it and whenever they feel the need to release frustration they slap it on the table repeatedly and say "dammit", "dammit", "dammit"
