Cocoa shells would be because chocolate is poisonous to dogs.
My dogs only get about 1/2" of real bacon on Sunday mornings. Sometimes real chicken, small piece. Otherwise they eat dog food and dog treats.

You have to really watch & read all human & dog food & treats. Both can be very toxic. I stay away from all foods that have lots of additives & fillers in them. Even the dog food. I make most all of my foods from scratch, even syrup, & have for years.

What do you do with a husband who thinks if he eats it the dog or cat can because that's what they did growing up?!
Never mind what I have been told by a vet.

Tell DH that the world has changed, some foods will poison dogs and cats, its not like when the food was safe to eat.
