    For many years, I made quilted floor blankets for babies. So of course, anything for babies you want to be durable and WASHABLE!!!! I used satin ribbon for my bindings and always stitched it on with a fancy stitch so I didn't have to worry about the possibility of handstitching letting go. It worked great!!!

    Thanks Harris...I think the pinning down the ditch is the key part I was missing...I'll try that and I bet it will work out great.

    Thanks Pzazz, going to try that on my next quilt with a lot of chenille and flannel. Think it will work fine, never tried, oh well 1st time for everthing.

    Sandpat, you don't have to pin more than 9 to 12 inches. I pin as I go along and check the back as I stitch up, just in case you have to make adjustments. Good luck!!

    Thanks harris and pzazz for your tips. Will have to try these ideas. My dbl. binding sure needs all the help it can get. LOL. :lol: Beautiful work and ideas! :lol: :-o :roll:
