My friend did this with her 5-year-olds. It was simple enough to have the kids help, and they gave them as gifts to their teacher and others. Really, really cute!

I buy my canning jars at Dollar General, I've never looked for jars this small,but I'll bet they have them.

I was thinking this would be fun for Christmas and add jars with hot cocoa mix in them and ribbons on them with candy canes tied in them for swizzel sticks. I have seen them with cake and cookie ingredients in them, and a card attatched with what liquid ingredients to add. There is also the 5 minute chocolate cake recipe that would work well in these too that was posted here... A 6 pack of these jars in a variety of goodies would be a fun gift to give and inexpensive too :D:D:D

I found the jars at my grocery store. Actually I found them before I found the recipes and was wondering what to use them for. Lots of ideas here to.
