    Hi Jan,

    no... The flowers are made out of gum paste.... A sort of fondant that dries quicker and harder than fondant.

    Cake decorating has always intrigued me. Your creation is too pretty to cut into! I think the process is quite an art...be proud! I'm lucky if my cupcakes come out good!
