I just finished this quilt and like it very much. I used a gray grunge background and brights and batiks for the stars.
I only made 15 blocks and mine is 58 x 98. It was an easy pattern.

Jenny's blocks are usually easily accomplished and rewarding in the end

I have never FMQ so the last photo gives me hope that I can quilt this pattern in a creative way. ;-)

I made this quilt and it was super easy and super fast. I used a batik strip pack in dark colors and cut my own backgrounds out of light fabrics I had. Great project for retreat as it doesn't require concentration.....something I seem to find lacking when I go to a retreat!

Nice easy pattern - you can also co-ordinate the colors to give a woven look

It looks fairly simple and very pretty.

I have not seen this pattern. Very pretty so I'm going to follow along and see what else pops up. =)

Somehow I missed this MSQC tute too! Looks like a fun, low concentration block. But, when joining blocks together do you loose the point in the 1/4" seam?

The star points touch each other. I have all the blocks made, have to sew them together. I had the blocks sewn in less then an hour at retreat. LOL
