Ok, here it goes, idiot in the making... I can figure out how to cut the center (made those quilt squares before) and how to size the cubes and the stripes... its how to piece them together once your done with the center which I am... I find I am getting a tad frustrated and KNOW its probably very simple and I am just missing it (I hope I know this)..HELP

It's gorgeous Linda, you are a born natural and it's good to see you finally got around to joining us here...didn't I tell you they were a great bunch!!

For everyone's info, Linda is a new friend of mine who was my neighbour while I was staying in the apartment over the summer. BOY has she caught the quilting bug BIG TIME...p.s she has even taken over the guest bedroom for all her quilty stuff already LOL!!!!   :D

I made that runner also, but it didn't have the star in the middle. What pattern did you use? It is really pretty in Xmas colors.

Well done you! I am at the stage of always needing some instructions!

However, for those who do want the pattern, it can be found at http://cowbellespatchwork.blogspot.c...r-pattern.html

Linda

PS Thank you all for your encouraging comments.
