    I have a Grace Imperial, my husband fabricated a dead bar for it and it works wonderfully. It does cut into the quilting area a bit as it had to go behind the take up roller, but that was better to me than having to adjust every take up. He just made a holders for a round pipe on each end and inserted the pipe. PM me if you want a picture

    I had a tin lizzie on a Grace Inspira frame w/o a dead bar. I traded both in for a Handi Quilter Avante with a 10' HQ Studio frame.
