    Color catcher takes the worry out of washing. Try it.

    I would stick it in the bathtub with cool water and a little Orvis soap or Synthrahol. If nothing bleeds, then you can toss it in the machine to rinse and spin. If it does bleed, the tub is large enough so nothing is layered. You can transfer it to the machine and use a color catcher.

    I think I read somewhere that using vinegar in the washer will set the colors.
