Have you thought about looking for a coloring book? You may be able to get a design to use to make an appliqué or if you do hand embroidery, to trace and embroider.

I have always wanted to make a cowboy quilt - I was a giant fan of the Lone Ranger, Roy Rogers & Dale Evans, to start the list from the time I was about 2 years of age. About 10 years ago I was at the Road to CA show and they had so many different fabrics and I was ready to buy a yard of each when I realize no one else would have been the least bit thrilled with it. No one in my family - kids now don't have much of a clue who or what the Lone Ranger was. The Roy Rogers Museum was moved from Victorville CA to somewhere in Missouri. I still love watching those old shows.

That's a great quilt. The colors really work well. Did you sash and fussy cut the individual charms or did they come that way?

I love it! where did you get the cowboy in the center. that is what I'm looking for. Is it preprinted panel or did you applique it?

I have that fabric that is on the web site that "Jane Quilter" sent you to. I have the little cowpokes sitting a fence if you are interested. I also have red fabric with horseshoes on it to coordinate with it. Just PM me if you are interested.

I forgot to say that if you go on the web site the little cowpoke fabric is about 8 rows down.

In our picture gallery, there is a very cute cowboy quilt, appliqued in the center. I think she said it was from Amy Bradley.
