I started making some yesterday. The pattern I'm using has a shorter rounded top, and I think it needs to be an elongated "tongue" as yours. Thanks for showing these....I'm going to adjust my pattern.

I made these for our quilt show boutique benefiting my chapter of our quilt guild. They were a hit. I bought a package of towels from Costco. They were good quality towels, with a pleasing variety of patterns, for a low cost.

Your towels are very pretty. I made them last year for Christmas gifts, but mine were entirely crocheted with cotton yarn. There was no terry cloth in them at all. These are so handy in the kitchen or bath, just to dry wet hands.

Great work! Is your SIL going to keep them for herself or give as gifts? Make them for all seasons!

I've made a few before, but as Linda experienced, I could have made the button tab part longer.

Your fabric along the edge adds a lot, too.

I love them and I always buy them at craft fairs, having never made them myself.

You did a great job. I need to make some because my husband has towels all over the place. He can't seem to put anything back where it belongs
    This would solve the problem!

Q A Really nice gift! Shows lots of work and thought in the prints. Never have made these.
