Which gets sewn first: Zipper or Seam?

If you are using an invisible zipper, it is SO MUCH easier to do the zipper first.Actually it is easier with any sort of zipper. BUT- REMEMBER to open the zipper before sewing the sides. Most of us have kept the zipper closed - once!

If you follow this tutorial exactly, you will end up with a perfect invisible zipper, the only thing showing is the little zipper pull. Finally I am happy with my pillow covers. I have printed a copy and follow it when making a cover.
