I am confused did you draw the flowers using crayons? I know that there was a process years ago that you did that and then heat set it sometimes more than once. Which ever way it's done the quilt is lovely.

Thank you all for the comments...I laid a paste of water mixed with oxyclean on the marks for maybe an hour? I had walked away from it. It did intrude on some of the crayon and I had to re-color that small bit. FYI the paste will remove crayon also!

I'd had the 'pre-stamped for hand emb' blocks for several years--had decided to put them in garage sale until I saw the crayon colored quilt and tutorial here. I tho't, "what's to lose?" So I got out my crayolas and ironed the blocks to freezer paper...sat at a wood tv tray, and became a child again. You can prob see the stamped lines on the blocks--it has not yet been laundered. However, the pattern lines do not bother me and I am searching my stash for more possibilities. I'm told (by a friend) that I should wash in cool water with mild soap, but I see no reason it cannot be put in the dryer, as it was heat set anyway.
