    Lovely, now a question. Do you have a pattern for the butterflies? I know they are folded, but not sure just how. I have a lot of hankies from my grandmother and great grandmother that I want to use in 2 quilts, for my daughter and niece. I don't want to cut the hankies though. I like your butterflies.

    Brings back memories of ironing my Mom's hankies and putting them in her hanky box, which I now have. Lovely piece you are making.

    Wonderful results with the hankies. I have 3 hankies that I bought over 30 years ago in Alaska and plan (no rush) to make a small WH with them. Your's are beautiful.

    Thanks everyone for the kind comments..I had asked for advice earlier...one of the links was victirianquiltdesigns.com which gives a easy step by step on the butterflies..also if you search on the quilting board, there are lots of great ideas!
