    I have cut the offending strip shorter so the seam would fall before the miter. I always Wonder Clip my bindings on all around, with the miters rough-folded, to make sure seams don't fall into a miter, because there is usually one that will, even on a non-scrappy binding.

    I am doing a very scrappy quilt right now, actually 3 of them. I usually do a solid binding but with your post I have decided to do a scrappy binding on at least one of them, maybe a second one. I plan on having one of them ready for binding in a week or so.

    That's pretty interesting. I too sew ends together for scrappy binding. I may have to give that way a try. Love the striped effect. Thanks for posting.

    I did a pieced binding on a quilt for my bed and absolutely love the look!
