Thank you all for your guidence. I guess that the Goddard video is the one I will have to work on. My bernina770qe is going to get a workout as I try the technique.
Yes the updates wipe out favorites, history, desktop & any files I have added to ( like the file named quilts for a bucket list) This comp. is so unstable & has been a problem from day one. Will have to go to the tech & see if he can sort it out. If not- will do Firefox or a new comp. Yikes to the $$$$.
