I'll be longarming today. I have a quilt loaded on the frame, just trying to get the gumption to get started.

I'm going to try and join in today. Husband is trying to pass a kidney stone, and he is kind of needy this weekend. I feel for him but I think it is better if he keeps moving. So far today I have been able to clean up my thread boxes and get them organized again, something checked off my to do list. I would like to do more sewing on a test quilt I'm doing, but we will see if I sew or clean the sewing room, which needs it.

Here's a picture of the quilt I have on the frame today. It's a quilt, with a large heart in the center of the quilt.

I got my quilt top finished, so that's it for sewing for me today. The next step is to get it sandwiched and I won't be able to get to that before tomorrow.

This is the Missouri Star Quilt Company's Easy Hunter Star pattern.

I had a whole day of sewing planned. Then all three young grandboys showed up to play in creek behind the house. It's high 70's here so the day is beautiful. I have been outside most of the day. I love being in the sunshine by water.

I think grandsons qualify for a reprieve from sewing.

They love to go crawdad fishing. It's always a thrill to pull one out and it not drop off. LOL A sand bucket full and then back in the water so the crawdads can go home. LOL

I forgot about this until I saw it mentioned in another thread! I'm in. Cool top Tish05.

I spent the day working on hand stitching the binding to the back of a quilt I just finished quilting. Posted some pics over on the UFO thread. Now I need to figure out what I'm going to work on next. There are several UFOs I could pull out, or I could start something new...

I sewed the binding strips together & ironed the whole thing. Then my daughter came over to help me pack. No more sewing for now!

I have now made the "same" quilt 3 times! ....My sister in law's sister (no relation to me) is having a baby so I decided to make her a quilt. Baby quilts! They're quick! They're easy...!! So with no guidance other than "she likes purple" I decide to raid stash and try "Hidden Wells" from Theresa Down Under https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XHugZLa2UE. She made it look so easy...Then I spot Bonnie Hunter's "Daybreak" pattern https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFBOYKNY2bc - I've made four blocks and they look fine....but it's not really baby. I 've cut up the last of my purples into strips and made a Jelly Roll Race. I'm not in love, but at least I'm not embarrassed. It needs a border of some kind to bookend and frame We'll see what I have in stash to make into a backing.
