    I think the pattern is so well written there isn't anything aside from it that I'd recommend. I did use 505 temporary spray adhesive to hold the 3 layers together when I quilted them together. I do recommend using a walking foot when sewing the 3 layers. Another great thing about this pattern is there are videos available for each step of the pattern. Annie really did make this as easy as it could possibly be.

    I'm making a second tote bag now, using fat quarters that I fussy cut for the sides of the tote. I have it cut out and am putting it together later this week.

    I really like that bag & your second one is going to be gorgeous. I've made quite a few zippered bags as Christmas gifts & everyone seems to love them. Waiting to see your finished second one!

    It is too early to think about Christmas gifts, etc. I’m always looking for something interesting to make for my small applique group. I like this bag - sure could use one myself. I’ll check out the pattern. Thanks so much.

    I had so much fun making the first one I made a second one. This time I fussy cut the fabric.
