This is a very beautiful quilt and I am sure your pastor loves it. Make the time to make one for yourself. I know years ago I made a quilt that expressed bible blocks for a priest friend of mine and like you I did enough to make one for myself. I eventually made the quilt and then put it away and lost it for years. I looked for it from time to time and it wasn't until about a year ago that I found it. I kept telling myself "did I give this one away too?" Just so glad I kept on for myself. Make it for yourself and keep it where you can always find it. Again this is a very beautiful quilt

Very beautiful quilt and very appropriate gift for your Priest. Now it is time for you to make a quilt for yourself. It will be so satisfying to have a quilt of your own and enjoy.

Love your quilt. Did you have a pattern or just make it up yourself. Would like to make one for my church.

Great job and good idea to cut two at a time.

Lovely project with lovely thoughts behind it.

But yes, I'm agreeing with the others, put yourself on the list and give yourself a quilt.

After decades of quilting I realized that all my own quilts were in pretty gross tatters and not worth showing (I'm still using them though!). Eventually the goal is for me to have one themed quilt for each month of the year. I think I'm about 4-5 months finished, 4-5 months done/not quilted, and 3 in just yardage collections. Still might take me another 20 years, but I'm on the list!
