It sounds like a great site to get things from then. Thank you everyone for your comments. I will look at them more often for supplies if they have them. I'm trying to get away from the 'big box stores' and help smaller companies when I can.

Wawak is not that small as it sells to sewing businesses, Ordering online from the independent shops is the best support for the small shops. Buying from small shops will usually mean paying more and that's understandable but not doable for many and honestly I will not pay more for the same product unless there is value for me to do so, like gas or time savings.

Yes, I used to buy from them frequently. Loved their prices and products. Haven't gotten a catalog or flyer from them in a long time, thought they went out of business. Will contact them for update.

Thank you for letting me know they aren't that small. But they probably aren't as big as Walmart or Amazon though.

I do try to buy from small/local shops but sometimes they don't carry what I need so it's nice to find a place that's inbetween the two.

I purchase from them often. I do alterations as a second income. I buy a lot of various threads, zippers, buttons and wedding/prom dress supplies. Shipping is usually quick and everything is packaged well.

I think Wawak sells on Amazon. Probably retail stores too. So they do get support no matter where you buy the products from.

I have ordered from them and didn't have any problems. Watch for their sales and shipping was pretty quick. (that was before the pandemic though)

One by one, Thanks so much for this lede on Gutermann Mara 120 thread from Wawak. It has really saves me some money as I like use dense quilting and thread painting. I also tried Mara150 and this seems to be similar to 60wt. Good for bobbins when thread painting. I just ordered the Mara 220, very fine thread to experiment with. I’ll let you all know how it goes.

I buy thread, sewing needles, zippers, just about all my sewing supplies from WaWak. I've never been disappointed with the service or shipping, the products are name brand so no problems their either.
