    I use it in all sorts of ways. I agree with Jingle. I love it.

    I tend to buy extra so I have enough for a smaller quilt another time. I discovered when I send a quilt out that it is not uncommon for the LA'er not to have enough backing for a quilt. (At least 6" on each side). The left overs are great for bindings and to be pieces together for pillows and the like.

    I use it in a future project- sometimes I order extra just to have long border fabric or for background blocks in an appliqué quilt. No matter what it goes on my shelves until I need it

    I usually cut up the extra backing into smaller usable pieces such as 5" pieces or strips for bindings.

    If you know you will want it for binding. You can precut strips before storing and note the length.
