    The pattern is for fused applique and then satin stitched around them. There was more hand embroidery in the pattern than I did. I used a close narrow zig zag for the legs and feet. The beak and eyes were suppose to be embroidered but I used a triangle piece of felt and tiny black buttons for the eyes.
