Funny this has come up! I have been looking for lawn or rayon challis to make some blouses. I recently made one using quilting cotton from Liberty of London. It turned out a little heavy. It will be a good winter shirt. So I've scoured the internet looking for the lighter weight cottons and rayons. My solution for the Liberty shirt will be to wash it a bunch of times. Hopefully, that may soften it somewhat.

Anyone know of a place to suggest I look for blouse fabric?

This is the Liberty of London shirt... I didn't prewash the fabric, but the shirt came out a bit too long. After washing tho, it shrunk just enough to be perfect now. That was a happy accident. This picture is before washing.
