I'm a perfectionist, I'll try to fix a flaw a few times then I figure it's good enough. Almost all of my quilts go to charity for children, nursing homes or veterans. They are not going to notice a flaw, or a seam not lined up. In all the years I've been quilting I've kept 4 quilts for us and they probably aren't perfect.

Nothing is ever truly perfect. I am precision challenged so I do rip if I have to. I can usually make my projects appear perfect enough but they aren't. I'm okay with that.

I've always had a fear of making mistakes, so I will try several times to correct a problem. Maybe that's why I loved doing counted cross stitch. It satisfied my need for perfection. My husband is always telling me that It looks just fine and no one else will notice any mistakes.

I've made many quilts over the years and I bet not one of them is perfect. I will redo something as well as I can. However, over time I guarantee that I will forget about the little mistake in the quilt. It's happened more times than I can remember.
