Beautiful quilt and such a moving act of kindness. My heart is heavy for atrocities perpetrated against indigenous children and their families.

Your quilt really moved me. They took those children out of the forrest that they called home and locked them in foreign buildings where so many of them died. They were forced to wear unfamiliar clothing, eat unfamiliar food, worship a new god, speak an unknown language and live apart from family. My heart hurts for them. Same thing happen here in the United States.
