I use QD 80/20 because I can get their king size 120" in a roll as most of my quilts seem to come out over 108". I have a friend down in TX that swears by the Pellon batting and she quilts for others. So far I have tried it yet and I've been ordering by groups of bats instead of by the roll to finish off the larger quilts I have yet to quilt. The scraps get stitched together or I use batting tape to combined them for the smaller quilts.

I'm not a prolific quilter, so don't use as much batting as some people. I have used warm and natural 80/20 and liked it. I bought a roll of Pellon when Walmart was closing down their "fabric cut so size" departments in our area. It's thinner than Warm and Natural. I would guess it's about 1/2 the thickness of warm and natural. I'm doing mostly community service quilting right now. It works fine for that purpose, plus I've done a couple of my own in Pellon batting. It worked well for that, too.

Has anyone tried Warm and Plush? I like the old fashioned crinkle quilt look, and really don't want the comforter pillow look. I'm just wondering if the Warm and Plush still gives the crinkle look, All of the reviews I've read, say they really like it, but no answer on the finished look for the most part.

I use Missouri Star Best Blend batting. It's lightweight and soft. I machine quilt all my quilts so buy it by the size package. Packages are easier for me to store, no measuring, and a free pattern comes in every package. Usually duplicates but I give to the hostess at guild to go in the door prize bag.
