Welcome, I am a new quilter too. I have only been on here a month and quilting for about 2 or 3 months. I didn't even know how to sew before October. I got books at the library and read them all then bought my machine and it has been love since.... :)

This forum is awesome! I have never seen a group of people so supportive and fun. Just since I have been on here we have added a lot of new ones and it just keeps getting better. The family just keeps growing :)

I am also a self taught quilter who learned through books and TV shows. When I started quilting about 15 years ago there were no Quilt forum. On my site I try to give out information for beginning quilters. I cover applique techniques, traditional blocks, baby quilts, and quilt book reviews.
