    I am doing one using 3/4" hexagons. I purchased my hexagons from this website: www.paperpieces.com.

    I am using 1 inch hex's, but have the utmost respect to those doing smaller ones! I might try a few smaller hex "flowers" to applique on the border of the guilt I am making now. But I have to tell you, when I look at the 3/4 inch, they sure do look little!

    :lol: :lol: I was just trying to visualize this size!! OMG!! Since I've never done one of this, is this the finished size I hope?

    Yep, finished. I did see a mini quilt on some site sometime ago, and it had a dime laying next to the hex. The dime was bigger than the hex!!! Amazing!

    I think the size of a hexagon is determined by the length of one of the sides. "paperpieces.com" is a good place to look for sizes and ideas.

    Thanks ladies for all your advice...I'm leaning towards doing something alittle different....guess I'll just look at all the links you suggested! Its hard to do on my old computer at home, but here at my daughters (if the little ones permitt) its easier!

    there are flower,diagnal there are a lot of diffrent ways and most of all it depends on how may colors you use, then it can be hand stiched or machine. the skys the limit. God bless. Penny
