    Mortina, you have the serial number already! :) Do you see the little plate that's attached to the machine base by the bobbin winder? That's got the serial number on it.

    I think you made a Marvelous Find & the price sounds great too.
    What a lucky girl you are!! I love the name Lizzy. I have named mine Louise, after my Grand Mother. Isn't this way to fun? :D

    Awesome find!!! I am going to pick up my 3rd treadle machine tomorrow or Wednesday. The gentleman I am buying it from say is works wonderfully. I have been attacked by the antigue bug! LOL!! I love these old machines and am so excited to get one that works with out me having to work on it.

    Beautifull machine and cabinet. Be sure to find out about the sphinx exblem--it means it is a certain age and they are more valuable. I'm sure you will find more info about your new beauty.
